ONE NIGHT

It was a Thursday night and boy was I glad to get out of the office. Was a late shift and I wanted to go for a party. Heard the news that there was a party at the diplomatic club, so thought that I should go for it and then called up a few friends and asked if they wanted to go for the party. Went to it and it was a bummer. There was no one there. It was nothing like the global DJ's that happen every now and then. I mean if there is a global DJ's party, then the crowd is expected. But today at this party, there was no one there. The music that they were playing was good, but the crowd left with disappointment. It was like the music was going on, but the people were going out. Well all I can say is that there is nothing like the Global DJ's, and that they are the ones that set the whole crowd into a blaze of glory. Hats off to the guy who organized this event today, but I am sorry, it was a bummer. Well all I can say is that if you're in Doha; don’t miss the next Global DJ's party. Don’t worry; I will keep you informed of the next global DJ's event. See you there.

LIPS OF AN ANGEL

It’s really good to hear your voice,
Saying my name,
It sounds so sweet.
Coming from the Lips of an Angel,
Hearing those words,
It makes me weak.

IM STILL HERE!!!

It’s funny how the smallest things will affect your life. I mean it’s the little things that will screw anything that you have planned out. I mean try thinking of it this way, you create plans with a certain someone, thinking that you will go far… but a small thing will screw everything. The only reason why I’m saying this is because it has happened to me, and I’m sure there are many other people who must be feeling what I am right now. My life was bliss when I was with that special someone. But things didn’t work out as usual. I guess that it was meant to be or something like that. But I can’t do anything about it. It’s not my problem if people don’t understand the things that I am going through. No matter how much you try and explain it to a person, they just don’t get it. Seriously, I am a busy person and I have things to do in order to be successful, even if it means doing two to three jobs in a single day. I can’t help it if I don’t have the time to do anything that I want to do. I used to get up every morning feeling glad to be alive. I guess I just want the moment to be real and for me its back to the life of living single and alone, back to the drawing board creating plans. It’s the holding on part that seems to be a little hard. But I am the one and I’m still here…

BIRTHDAY

28th September is the day of my birth. Guess what… today is the day that I celebrate it. I hope that this year goes well for me and hopefully there won’t be any problems that I might have to face later on. But the only thing I can do is to wait and see what’s actually going to happen this year. Well so far it’s been a blast and hopefully later in the night things might get better. Who knows, maybe I might be lucky. Well I shall just wait and see what the evening and the New Year brings me.

WORK

Life is now a little pleasant than what it was before. Got a job, working with the Doha Asian Games 2006 and I must say it is a blast. The people, or rather my supervisors are the type of people who you wouldn’t want to see go away after the job gets over. Also my friends or the student body who also got selected along with me are too enjoying their time at the office. Of course there is a lot of work later on, but for now I’m just enjoying my time with them. They make work a lot easier and fun for us. The people I work with are Vladimir, MJ, Basta, Sarah, Nigel, Patil, Rami, Tala, Yazin, Khaled and Sheba. All wonderful people and also some of them my university mates. Then there is Heather, Stephanie, Glenn, Kim, Jessica, Gaurav, Mouder, Steven, Fiona, Sam, Vincent, Aqeel, Ilnara, Batura, Nesther, Ben, and Nahed, our coordinators. I would say that this is an office where you can be free and do pretty much whatever you want to do, just as long as you finish your work. Other than that, it is really a fun place to be. Its like as they say in every meeting or presentation that they give out, THIS IS WHERE THE FUN BEGINS. Well all I can say is that I’m happy here and enjoying the time.
